Volunteer Opportunities at NFHC
We ask for a 1 (4-hour) shift per month commitment, and a 1 year commitment to the role.
Medical Opportunities:
- 
Medical Providers – MD, DO, NP, PA (flexible scheduling; additional clinic hours possible as providers join). 
- 
Nursing & Clinical Support – RN, CNA, MA (take vitals, room patients, support providers). 
- 
Physical Therapy – Licensed PTs to support patient recovery and mobility. 
- 
Mental Health & Counseling – LSW, MFT, or other licensed counseling professionals. 
Non-Medical Opportunities:
- 
Receptionists – Welcome patients and assist with check-in and check-out. 
- 
Housekeeping/Facilities – Help with cleaning and organizing during non-clinic hours. 
- 
Grant Writing & Fundraising – Assist with research, writing, or donor outreach to help sustain our mission. 
- 
Outreach & Community Engagement – Spread the word about clinic services and volunteer opportunities. 
- 
Board of Directors – Provide governance, leadership, and strategic direction.
