Volunteer Opportunities at NFHC

We ask for a 1 (4-hour) shift per month commitment, and a 1 year commitment to the role.

Medical Opportunities:

  • Medical Providers – MD, DO, NP, PA (flexible scheduling; additional clinic hours possible as providers join).

  • Nursing & Clinical Support – RN, CNA, MA (take vitals, room patients, support providers).

  • Physical Therapy – Licensed PTs to support patient recovery and mobility.

  • Mental Health & Counseling – LSW, MFT, or other licensed counseling professionals.

Non-Medical Opportunities:

  • Receptionists – Welcome patients and assist with check-in and check-out.

  • Housekeeping/Facilities – Help with cleaning and organizing during non-clinic hours.

  • Grant Writing & Fundraising – Assist with research, writing, or donor outreach to help sustain our mission.

  • Outreach & Community Engagement – Spread the word about clinic services and volunteer opportunities.

  • Board of Directors – Provide governance, leadership, and strategic direction.
